Who We Are   The Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer civilian service organization, open to both men and women who are citizens of the United States, its territories and possessions, and are 18 years of age or older. Our Cadet Program serves young people ages 12 to 18. CAP members contribute their time and talent, and enjoy in return the satisfaction of performing invaluable service to the United States Air Force, to various law enforcement and emergency services organizations, to young people interested in aviation, and to the flying community. Many CAP members are pilots, but CAP non-pilots enjoy equally rewarding volunteer careers serving on air crews, on ground teams, as instructors and in various support roles.

What We Do   Civil Air Patrol missions include Search and Rescue (SAR) usually but not limited to incidents involving downed aircraft, Disaster Relief, Counter Drug photography and surveillance, emergency transport of medical supplies, ground and air radiological monitoring, and training missions to keep ourselves at all times fully "mission ready". Our Cadet Program provides orientation flights, general aerospace education, leadership training, and a regimen of physical fitness, military discipline, and moral guidance.
